The new event takes place this fall in Louisiana

Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton are set to headline the inaugural Boots on the Bayou Festival in Gonzales, Louisiana this fall. The two-day event features 12 main acts on the scenic six-acre front lawn of the Lamar Dixon Expo Center.

Friday, October 31st will see Johnson headline with Parker McCollum, Carly Pearce, Maddox Batson, Tyler Braden, and Chase Tyler. Stapleton will close the event on Saturday, November 1st with Riley Green, Marcus King Band, Elle King, Ashley Cooke, and Kruse Brothers.

Ticket details and pricing are unclear as of this writing. Fans are encouraged to sign up for ticket alerts.

The Lamar Dixon Expo Center is a premier 247-acre venue, conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Baton Rouge and under an hour from New Orleans. With plenty of nearby hotel options and on-site RV and car camping available from Wednesday through Sunday, music fans can stay close to the action all weekend long.

Festivalgoers can also shop a unique marketplace showcasing talented local artists and merchants and sample delicious food and drink options from local food trucks and vendors, all serving up authentic Cajun and Creole flair.
