Deftones unveils new album, shares 'Mind is a Mountain'

The album was recorded in several locations
Deftones have unveiled Private Music for August 22nd via Reprise/Warner Records. The 11-song project, the band's tenth, was recorded and co-produced in various locations in California, including Malibu and Joshua Tree, and Nashville, Tennessee, with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz. It marks their third collaboration with Raskulinecz, who had previously helmed 2010's Diamond Eyes and 2012's Koi No Yokan. The album once again sees the band pushing creative boundaries as only they can.
Earlier this year, Deftones launched their first North American headlining tour since 2022, produced by Live Nation, and it proved to be their most significant and successful yet.
Deftones saw a 100% sellout business of an extensive arena run, including legendary venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York, TD Garden in Boston, and even a two-night stand at Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
The next round of dates commences on August 22nd at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, and continues in arenas across Canada and the United States, including Rocket Arena in Cleveland, OH, on September 10th and Ball Arena in Denver, CO, on September 15th. This second leg closes on September 17th at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO.
Deftones welcome Phantogram and Idles as direct support on select dates. The Barbarians of California will open for all dates.
