The song tops several country charts

Multi-platinum, ACM and CMA Award-winning singer-songwriter Riley Green notches No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, Mediabase Country Airplay Chart, Mediabase Canada Country Airplay Chart, and UK Country Radio Airplay Chart with his smash hit, “Worst Way.” Marking his fifth career No. 1, the track is only the second song solely written by the performing artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart since 2012, with Green marking the sixth solo artist to do so in the past 20 years—a rare and remarkable feat in today’s country music landscape. “Worst Way” also receives a RIAA double platinum certification.

The stripped-down, emotionally charged ballad showcases Green’s signature blend of vulnerability and Southern storytelling. Having taken the internet by storm earlier this year with its global No. 1 viral music video, the track has quickly become a fan favorite in Green’s discography. Its online momentum translated into commercial impact, steadily climbing the charts before claiming the top spot this week. The accomplishment adds to Green’s growing list of chart successes and further cements his status as one of the genre’s most compelling voices.

In addition to his latest accolades, the country star announces his second Duckman Jam concert, taking place November 22nd in Little Rock, AR, as well as two headlining shows in Las Vegas on December 12-13 during National Finals Rodeo weekend.

The Duckman Jam will feature support from Jamey Johnson, Drake White, and Lauren Watkins. Presales start tomorrow (Tues, June 17th) ahead of the general sale on Friday, June 20th at 10 am local time. Green has also teamed up with Ducks Unlimited to donate $5 from every ticket sold in support of conserving North America's wetlands and the wildlife that depend on them.

These chart-topping achievements and newly announced shows add to an already landmark year for Green. He recently took home three awards at the 60th Annual ACM Awards and a coveted CMA Award at the 2024 ceremony. Green is also currently on his international headlining Damn Country Music Tour which kicked off in Canada and continues with stops in Nashville, New York, Chicago, Boston, the UK and more through November.
